Bolt Guns finally ready to go for a walk

Thank you very much. The 404 is a custom FN action build.... the 416 is a Dumoulin (Belgium maker) ....the 375 is a custom FN action build also... the 7x57 is a custom build on a VZ33 action.

Could you perhaps show some detail photos of the action of the Dumoulin? Thanks!

Perhaps you can confirm, but is this a magnum length action?

I would think a magnum length for 416 rigby would not need that cut out on the front bridge. But I can be mistaken.

I see a lot of similarities, and also differences between my own Vereecke 416 rigby that was based on a mixture of the RIMAG action from Francotte and the imperial magnum action from Dumoulin.

It holds 3+1 ?

Thanks a lot for sharing.

Yes sir, it is a true magnum length action, and you are correct : 1+3 cartridges. This is the E. Dumoulin Safari Sportsman model

Hello SkullKeeper,

What a battery!!!! Just curious, did you bought all of them at once? Seems very well made, each and every one. The Dumoulin is a true 416 Rigby, and bigger, Mauser Magnum action Congratulations!!!

Thank you very much. They were not all acquired at once- I picked up the Dumoulin first, then the 375, I had the 404 built, and the 7x57 started life as a 270 (I purchased second hand although absolutely new condition, and had a new barrel made). I believe they all came to be in about a year and a half. Bruce Farman put the 404 together and also did some of the finish work/adjusting stocks on the 375 & 7x57 (all brilliantly), Also involved was Dennis Olson. He did the feeding work on the 404, as well as some of the metal work on the 7x57. Luckily each of these rifles shoot sub-MOA.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
