I am a cruiser man myself but I know a few that swears by the Safari.

If you watch the way these guys in the video

work a bolt my ZKK with 5 in the belly and one in the spout will work fine.

For pigs yes. If it takes 5 in the mag it is probably too small to be a reliable DG stopping rifle.

The DG PH's I've hunted with carried the following guns;
1. Merkel 500 double. Open sighted.
2. CZ 550 in 458 win mag. Open sighted.
3. Brno 602 pop up keep, 458 Lott, safe never on, carried with bolt handle up.
4. Ruger RSM in 416 Rigby. Scoped.
5. CZ in 458 win mag, open sighted.
6. A spear lifted off some poachers. Specialized in Leopard with dogs. Spear is light weight, no permit to own or cross borders, figured it was more effective in close with dogs on cat
