That package normally come with Zeiss scopes. You can look up the package to see which ones are standard. I would either purchase those, Leica Magnus or Blaser scopes.

For 375 I’d go with Swaro Z8i 1-8 with 4A-IF “flexchange” reticle or S&B Exos 1-8 with FD7 reticle. I like the double design reticle on the Swaro and I like the CC mode on the S&B. Both can be had with ballistic turrets whixh would be a worthwile addition on a 375.

I have the Z8i 1.7-13.3x42 P with 4AIF reticle or my .375 Ruger and the Z8i 2.3-18x56 with the 4WI reticle (windage hashmarks) For he 6.5 PRC.
I bought an inexpensive demo model Schmidt and Bender for my sons 7mm R8. It has great glass but the illumination is a joke. It’s only visible in extremely low light. I even sent it back to them to see if it could be fixed to no avail. To use the Blaser rail mount you can only get Swaro, Schmidt & Bender, Zeiss, & Blaser scopes I believe. The Z8 is by far the best but very expensive. The Blaser is good and has the neat feature that illumination only comes on when gun is on fire.
I’m sucking wind with all this stuff I’ve bought lately. May have to put the brakes on any new guns for a while

Leica Magnus can be order with a Zeiss Rail.

S&B set up Blaser scope manufacturing facility. Those Blaser scope are made by Blaser and not Minox, surprising considering they own Minox.

Yeah, me too.
I was on the market for a Blaser R8, but didn't have the money at the time.
We had just gotten back from our safari.
It would have been a perfect fit for us.

I did find a used on in 300WM at Euro Optic later in the year.
Not as good a deal as this one, but still a good one.
It all works out in the end I suppose.

Have 9.3x62 286gr 308 150gr as well use this pair deer / moose bear
All hand loaded

R93 has 375 H&H 270gr+ 300 WSM 165 TTSX Barnes factory is only bullet it likes .38” 200 yds to nice to drag through bush anymore

I know too many 30 cal but 06 & 375 pair headed to Namibia in 2022 for a hunt
Next nice wood stock for R8 maybe. Lol

I have the exact set up, and I have a Swarovski 1-6 Z6 EE rail mount on the .375 and a Swarovski Z6 2-12x50 Illuminated BT on the .300. If you need scope I have 2 Schmidt Benders in blaser mounts that would be perfect for your set up.

If you buy a Jaeger, it will most likely need to be opened up to accept the 22mm barrels.
There are several dealers who can channel out the stock to accept the larger barrels.

Only the Kilombero, Selous and Professional Hunter (synthetic) are set up for the safari barrels from the factory.
All three also come with the kickstop option that you would most likely want to add to the Jaeger as well.

I've seen a few Jaeger R8's on Gun International in various calibers, but not in the safari weight.

Another option would be to get the Jaeger with a 375H&H in a 19mm or even the 17mm barrel.
There are a few members here who have a 375 in such a configuration.
Lightweight and easy to carry all day.
For a rifle that is carried a whole lot more than it's shot...it could be a consideration.
