Blaser S2 double rifle

Buy it now is 2500 Euros and bid is 2000 Euros. No bids yet.

6x70R is a rare cat everywhere. Not sure what the parent case is. Maybe the 30-30.

Would be good for roe here I guess, I would rather have something else.

8x57JRS is an easy one.

I seen an amazing Blaser S2 375 h&h at Hendershot’s the other day. Highly engraved with super nice wood. Not sure where you are located, but Lance takes it in trades.
I want to thank you for telling me about the S2 at Hendershot’s. I ended up buying it. Chastity Hendershot was my primary contact and extremely helpful. I had Hendershot make me some ammo that was tuned to the gun by them. It was a very nice experience I wouldn’t have had if you hadn’t informed me of the gun. Thank you for your help.

Awesome....let's see some photos?

That’s awesome! I’m glad someone got it and is planning on taking it to the field. It is one amazingly beautiful rifle. The engraving is over the top. Happy hunting!

I’m interested in purchasing a Blaser S2 in a variety of calibers and with a plains game barrel in addition to something like a 375 to 470 NE. Please reach out to me if you’re interested in selling yours or know someone that is wanting to sell.

I can say for sure that the barrel blocks are interchangeable on the Safari modification. These are the calibers .375 H&H Mag, .500/416 NE, .470 NE, .500 NE. I even saw kits on sale that had barrel blocks .470 NE and .375 H&H Mag.

But I've never seen kits where there would be and .375 H&H Mag and .30-06, for example. But I admit that it is quite possible.
You wouldn’t happen to know anyone selling an S2 Blaser. Caliber is ok up to 470. In fact I’d like a 30-06 and a 375 or 470.

Wouldn’t we all.

If I don’t find it first! In the mean time love my BBF97s

I rarely see the S2 on sale. But sometimes they appear. I have an S2 in calibre .470 NE. At one time I was thinking of buying a block of barrels in caliber for it .375 H&H Mag, but I haven't found it anywhere. And then I forgot about it. I have a bolt-action rifle in the .375 H&H Mag, so I'm not too worried.

Would you be interested in selling your S2 Blaser. I am looking for a lux model at least with full side plates. 470’is a perfect caliber for me. It would be nice to find a plains game caliber as well 30-06 or 300 win mag.

However, the S2 Safari is a very accurate rifle. And she's well-shot from the start. The owner usually does not have to adjust it. And this is a very important point. It often happens that a person buys a double rifle, and then cannot set it up for a long time, spends money and gets nervous.

When I first fired my S2 in caliber .470 NE, I was surprised that the bullet holes were located 4 centimeters apart. The distance to the target was 50 meters. This is just a great result, which was shown by Hornady cartridges. There are also good results when firing Federal cartridges. I have no complaints about the accuracy of this double rifle. And I am confident in her reliability.

Yes, there were things that really confused me from the very beginning. This is a protrusion above the barrels, and the lack of automatic cocking after reloading, and more. But I've come to terms with it. Sometimes you have to sacrifice something. There is no such thing as a perfect weapon. Or it costs a lot of money.
Hi Raven. For your S2 what bore snake or cleaning kit do you use and prefer? I need to get one for mine and would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

I bought my S2 for an African hunt, which was postponed several times for various reasons. So far, I've only killed bears with it. But I'm planning a trip to Zimbabwe in 2027, and I hope nothing will stop me. So I'm not interested in selling this double-barreled rifle anytime soon. Besides, we live in different countries, and it is unlikely that such a sale will be an easy matter.

A Dewey ramrod for the .35 caliber, brushes and a brass jag for the caliber .458. It turns out that for .470 NE doesn't have many accessories. I was looking for a reloading kit. 470 NE and couldn't find it for a long time. Then I found it on eBay and immediately bought it. I usually use factory-made cartridges, but I decided that the reloading kit might come in handy someday, since it's not so easy to buy.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
