It is a very good price! I can swap to most any standard contour barrel without a barrel band sling swivel and keep the price the same, Going to a big bore proper african cartridge typically means I need to swap the stock to the Safari, Which entails a price increase of around 1500 / 2000 USD.

Yes I saw the price increase and its about the going price on the market. Does this have a steel receiver as opposed to the alloy receiver?

Yes, The safari moved the receiver to steel & shortens the fore-end to facilitate the barrel band sling swivel.
As configured on your quote it is about $1000 off of the normal price.
Pricing on the Selous barrels is.. Severe.. to say the least
