My inner German would not be denied. I downloaded the app, uploaded pics, arranged my items and placed an order in less than an hour. Pics when it shows up.This is what I did. You take photos of your stuff. Much easier. Cannot find my old outlines but no need with this.![]()

Has anyone seen any Blaser stock or barrel shapes on Case builder? I haven't found any sites with template items for them.Hand cutting foam with an electric knife was never good enough to satisfy this German. Case builder works so much better.
I tried MyCaseBuilder several years ago and wasn’t happy with the support. I was really left on my own to make the drawings.Has anyone seen any Blaser stock or barrel shapes on Case builder? I haven't found any sites with template items for them.
Just flew with Qatar Airways from Australia to Almaty and back with my Sauer 404 in the Sauer 404 Negrini case with no issues. Custom made canvas cover for it also. Three sheets of 14oz canvas and has two towels sown in all the way around it.I like my Negrini cases for range work but they shouldn't get anywhere near an airplane unless you’re chartering. Pelican or aluminum are much better choices. Aluminum cases IMO are best but scarce these days. Pelican with custom foam is the current king of the hill.
Do you use the same suppressor on all three barrels? (Presuming the olive color tube is a suppressor)I had posted this is other thread on GunFoam but posting here as well just to show the setup. View attachment 664304
I now have a Thunderbeast Magnus-S-RR in 375 that will be the can I use for all 3. In that pic I had used a different suppressor that was same size but was only 30 cal. On last hunt before Moz I had used that 30 cal can on 300WM & 6.5 PRC and shot 375 unsuppressed. Going forward, will just take the 375 magnus. All my barrels use the Area 419 adapters instead of the TBAC CB brakes as it allows compatibility across mount types. I have TBAC, Sico, and Dead Air cans and using Area 419 setup I just leave same muzzle device on barrels and can use any of the 3 as long as i spend time checking zero since each has different POI.Do you use the same suppressor on all three barrels? (Presuming the olive color tube is a suppressor)
Nice case setup!
Which case is that?
Looks a lot like the Pelican 1700 to me.Which case is that?
Correct, this is why I do not recommend it. I remember taking my Swaro spotting scope in my backpack on one international trip. It about shut down TSA! I spoke up and told the lady "it is just a spotting scope". She replied that she knew what a spotting scope was(smarty pants!). Ok then why all the fuss?Scopes in carry-on can raise eyebrows 1) if illuminated, and 2) if 'tactical' (military) reticles are present. BDC could be considered tactical.. Germany can be such a place. Pull the battery.
Well they are a unique breed there evidently. Fred Burchell related a story to me where he had a self weighing carry on roller bag. It had some kind of little internal scale. They threw him in a back room, took his phone and passport, and kept him there for hours accusing him of being a terrorist with a bomb!If I mount the scoped on the barrels and stand them upright, I can get them to fit easily. The issue then becomes clearance between the scope turrets to the case...one direct hit and it's over. I'll keep screwing around but it looks like the scopes are going in the carry-on. It's just a better plan and not that big a deal for us.
Why would there be problems with a scope going through security in Frankfurt, Germany?
