I've put 3 scopes on with Contessa mounts so far.
The ease with which I've done so is amazing.
Using the Swaro rail system scopes has made things much easier as well.
Solid lock up with quick and easy install/removal.
I believe it to be faster than the Blaser system.

I still have to field test the mounts for repeatability.
Findings reported here along with range report on each barrel.

I have a Blaser QR mount for my 22lr scope that I have yet to do.
Not looking forward to messing around with scope rings.

Sweet setup! Does she also drive the nice car?
I don't even have a car, just a work truck that my company owns.
So to answer your question, yep she does.

Wears the pants too...but the guns are mine. :D

Working with My Case Builder on a 1700 case for both rifles and 2 calibers.
Although that case is short on space and would make me carry my scopes in my carry-on.
I might just have foam cut to fit my Pelican 1750 and be done with it.

@Ed Lally has posted several pictures of his amazing layered setup in a Pelican Air 1615.
This is just his top layer for his Blaer R8 and double rifle case.
Very professional and made for discreet travel with a rifle.

As much as I love the setup that @Ed Lally has, I have to go a different route.
Trying to keep it flexible because we travel with so many different rifles/shotguns.
Leaving the bottom and top foam stock, but might add pieces between the rifles.
The rifles & bolts will go into Bore Stores thick rifle socks that we use as soft cases on the truck.
Our scopes will have to go into our carry-on luggage, probably safer there anyway.
With the limited space Mrs BeeMaa will be restricted to just one caliber, most likely the 375.

The woke generation is wondering why you won’t be restricted to one caliber and that she has a full range of options. (y)

I suppose when the woke generation starts carrying my luggage...:D

However...I am considering getting her a Pelican 1700 for the Intuition.
Just seems like a waste when we have a perfectly good 1750 that we can use.
Plus it's just one more thing to carry...for ME to carry...for all you woke folks out there.

And this is my idea of buying a rifle case...with another rifle already in it.
She didn't think it was very funny.

Whatever - I am on her side on this one. Has she considered joining the forum? :)

Well, weren't you the one saying .375 H&H is all one needs? So, looks like she got the message. @BeeMaa still needs more education ;)

Alright everyone, take a breath.
Wife came in and laid down the funds for her own Pelican 1700 case.
Found one on GB from Mad Dog Guns, be here in a bit.
The 1750 is going back upstairs for use with the shotguns.

Could you attach a full size tracing of cut out I can’t seem to find it here in Canada

Looks great! I would rethink the allen wrench resting on my scope, I think you could turn it, wouldn't want it rubbing for thousands of miles.

This is not my rifle case, just a picture of one I saw on GB.
The one I'm getting for my wife is empty...
But I will probably have to make a minor cutout to accommodate her scope as well.
I'll do my best to keep it away from the Allen key. (y)

@BeeMaa you need to put a picture of the two of you on the inside of that case, right in the middle!
We are quite the pair...her with a 375 and myself with a 416.
Mrs BeeMaa keeps it interesting.

I'll see what I can do about the picture. :)
Cheers mate.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
