Looking to hunt birds and Waterfowl

Peru has great ducks…

Argentina is awesome for dove, perdiz, and other birds..

@Bos en Dal SAFARIS has Egyptian geese if you wanted to combine some waterfowl with a safari (as well as other common African birds like guinea, francolins, etc..

Contact GetDucls.com and participate in their South African package-you can even bring them home.
Or did you want closer to home? Something in the Dakotas perhaps?

I hunt geese here every fall before they leave at end of October and then drive "home" to Montana for uplands till early December. All on public land (or publicly accessible private) and I do well enough. Beautiful country and very little competition. I'm sure I could count the times I have run into other hunters last year on both hands ... probably one hand. I don't know if anyone guides waterfowl here. Try Manitoba, especially northwest of Winnipeg. Unbelievable hunting and the country there is very pretty. People are great and no trouble getting yourself or your shotgun across the border (if no criminal record). Last I checked the non-resident licenses were very reasonable. Everyone wants to hunt pheasants in NW Montana or the Rocky Mountain Front. Both have become saturated with hunters. In my opinion there are better areas. South Dakota hunting has become extremely commercialized. I'm not into the merry band style of hunting. Also would not enjoy standing in one place and shooting a thousand birds (i.e. South America). That's just killing stuff. No real hunting involved. I want to be on the move seeing new stuff and watching the dogs work. Hunting birds without a dog just isn't hunting.

Like to hint Africa for birds and waterfowl

If you want waterfowl in Africa, contact Reinier Linde of Legelela Safaris. I'm going with him in August for waterfowl. A few guys from the Ultimate Waterfowlers International Challenge have already gone with him and they ended up with their 14 or 15 available species apiece. I've heard nothing but good things about his operation and can't wait to get on the waterfowl in a couple of months.

You can look up Ed McGee on Facebook. He's also got a business called BuzWaterfowl and he has photos of all his birds from Africa he got.
