Actually, it's not a problem at all, simply ship dummy rounds. No powder, no primer. That way you can ship them to and from anywhere with no issues. In fact, I use the primer pocket to glue the finishing nail into, and then the finishing nail becomes a pin protruding from the bottom that holds the round in place. Makes it very easy to move the rounds around in order to accommodate new additions. See pic below.I have often thought about building a display like this especially with the members on the forum here having a very diverse type of cartridges. Everything from .22 CB's one up to the 600 Nitro Express rounds.
However since you can not ship them through the US mail I think that the cost would get prohibitive shipping them with UPS or FedEx or other ground shippers. Now if you met up in person that would be a totally different thing.
