I have a want to buy Leica ad on the site, he registers today (Red Flag#1) offers me said scope.
Quotes a price, but is open to negotiation. (Red Flag #2)
I immediately grew suspicious and asked him for the serial number.
Response: "Sorry, i will pass on this because i can't give you the SN until we conclude the transaction. i don't want a situation where i give you SN and you go ahead to report it's stolen....that would be a felony with prison time. I would be liable for a personal lawsuit." (The Trifecta!)
