Yup!
It's all in the details. Be tenacious and keep digging.
I can not even imagine the good old days....

Hi Brickburn,
Thanks for the great intel. I have also looked in our data base. I have also put out inquiries on other websites. I will ask for referrals both successful and otherwise. In my years of hunting I have seen it all. The elk hunting industry is loaded with ""Bad Actors". I got extremely lucky as my first trip was with Motsomi Safaris and it was just heaven. I am going back in June. I will always go back but I do like to see different lodges as variety is the spice of life. Where ever I go I will post a full review here with lots of information and photos. As i do for Greys I will talk about everything. From comfort of the bed to how clean and warm the pool was. Information is power. We invest so much of ourselves in a big way. It permeates our dreams , hangs upon our hopes and takes away other options that the money used on the safari expends. So brick thanks for the start. I will keep everyone posted on how this evolves. Whom I picked and why. Finally how it all turns out. Should be fun.
Hey Bob ,
A new hunting partner would be great. The old one died so that would be great. He left some stuff like an old range finder and such. Naturally they go with the new partner. His wife is really not part of the deal but she said she is open minded.
thanks-Jerry

PaulT send me one as well........ Pleeeaaaase....
I am a hunter as well you know!
My best.
True TAP for one I have never been a pm kind of guy any offer I make I do publicly... unless contacted by an interested party directly, just my way of doing things...
Do feel though that such shady pm's from outfitters of "I'll repute" should be made public on this site for all to see as this will help prospective consumers/hunters and prevent them from making a uniformed decision that will hurt them financially for 1.
Once again good post but transparency would root this evil much quicker than posting about it.
My very best always.
a hunter mmmmmm? well i do know you can drink so i can at least verify your credentials on that subject :beer:
i wonder apart from someone like tap who has asked about hunts with large outlays, and new people on the site as to whether the pm posters check the profiles of people, and dont bother with people who have maybe hunted a lot in africa ,or look like/are involved in the hunting industry as they realise they probably wont pull the wool over their eyes.
and PaulT please send me one as well , but make it sound so good and cheap i cant resist !!
Spike under your guidance anything is possible... CHEAP DON'T BE A HUNT SLUT NOW!!!!!
:tongue::doh2::giveusahug::kt:
My very best as always!
Hi All
As i am fairly new on the site I just want to get some clarity, when a member post in a tread he is looking for a certain hunt. Is it wrong for me to contact him via PM, never made any offers over PM but want to find out more about his needs and requirements. Usually when I have all the info i will send him a package offer that suits his needs.
I am asking this because i did not have any clients from AH that can write reviews about hunting with me. And when i saw this tread, I started wondering what is the right way to do all of this.
Thanks for the great site and all the valued input from the members and outfitters participating on here.
