I just received my Els &Co bino strap - let me tell you this is worth the money. My experience with their staff has been amazing. The strap came with a wax sealed, hand written thank you note from the craftsman as well as a small rolled up care instruction card wrapped in a leather band. The quality and craftsmanship is beyond reproach.

I HIGHLY recommend these folks.

I have some of their cartridge holders, their quality is beyond most for sure.

I however in Africa anyway, don't use a strap anymore, I carry Leica 8x32 in the Eberlestock bino pouch on my ammo belt left side. 1 Strap on my shoulder for the rifle is enough for me.

On recommendation from a buddy I use the Rick Young Outdoors bino harness. Not as pretty as what you've shown but light and flexible to use. The PHs on our last trip liked them and most of us left them in SA. Given a new set is about $30, not so bad.

I was looking at the Els & Co site yesterday. Looks like great stuff.

Why is their stuff priced roughly 80% higher in USD compared to their pricing in Rand? Has anyone checked out in Rand with thier credit card?

Very impressive looking, thank you for sharing this. I've been using the Rick Young bino harness.

I used a Mystery Ranch bino harness. It's a nice additional storage area. Bino harnesses, in general, are great additional storage.

I found the harness just the way to go, especially on stalks. One less thing hanging off your body, potentially catching on things during stalks.

I also use the Rick Young bino harness, especially when hunting. Prior to the Rick Young, I used a Vero Vellini strap and still do on a walk about

MacJenkins, I also noted the exchange rate difference at Els & Co. I haven't ordered tho
Nice products

I use the Rick Young Outdoors Bino Harness as well and love it!

These people provide after-market straps for Leica cameras made from nylon rope (think larger paracord), in a variety of colours. For binoculars, I suggest the 'adjustable rope' strap, which puts a double length of rope on your shoulder or neck, spreading the load.

The other point that I would make is not to be afraid of slightly un-camouflage colours or patterns. Some years ago, I took off my Swarovskis to drink at a Scottish burn, and forgot to pick them up afterwards. Within 100 yards I remembered and found them, but I have seen people lose camouflage coats on the hill. It's all very well blending in, until you leave something behind!

I have used several different bino harnesses, even made one of my one design. All worked ok, but I like single leather strap, around the neck, under the left arm. Made out of a bridle rein. Easy to slide around the left side toward the middle of your back if you need to crawl on the ground. Mine is adjusted to hang about belt level.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
