Besides collecting Ruger #1s.....

5th picture in of the op bottom shelf on the right hand side third bottle back you will see Ancient Age which is what my father drank. Started slipping a little of his bourbon when I was 14 so it’s how I started liking Bourbon. I keep that bottle on hand just in case dad shows up. He passed away in 1995.

@CAustin , i like your comment “just in case dad shows up”

Lovely collection. What is the story behind the spent case and recovered bullet?

Now that is an impressive collection. Never tasted a Van Winkle 23, but I did have a George T Stagg...... it evaporated, as they are want to do. Thanks for foto........FWB

Nice looking room sir! I have had the privilege of joining @CAustin in this room!

I prefer Crown, specifically Reserve, but Black and Regular will also do;)(y)

I don't have a favorite bourbon, but have on hand and dip into Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Woodford, Makers 46

Your welcome to rent urn Charles should work bring you back this way!

It kills me. I want to like whiskey so bad but I just can’t do it. All whiskey, bourbon, and scotch makes me violently ill at just the smell. The only thing I can do is Crown and coke but even then it’s gotta be pretty weak. My dad is a big whiskey guy. He’s known for his affection toward Gentleman Jack. I’ve tried soooo many times to acquire a taste but alas, it still makes me nauseous.

Funny Gizmo beer does the same for me!

Solid collection, I'd love to find a number of the ones you have (at least not at secondary market prices). I didn't see any Weller's in your photos, have any? Weller is definitely a favorite of mine, as well as EH Taylor.

EH Taylor top shelf sixth picture in!

Thought I had a bottle of Weller’s and went to look but couldn’t find it. My inventory list says I have a bottle! I bet it evaporated! Ha

Elijah Craig at the moment but the darn African have got me drinking scotch now! Glenfiddich has been on the menu also of late.
Great collection!

Elijah Craig is an led friend and I have a couple of bottles including an 18 year bottle.

Nice banker he was!

Yep, been to a lot of close celebrations but that one stands out! I didn’t fully appreciate what he had done until I checked the secondary market price on that bottle!

Since being forced to work from home, I'm seeing this phenomenom as well, lol. Trying to leave my nicer bottles alone. You need these three for your collection! I can find all of these locally in Ohio and Kentucky, but the Weller 12 is $150 to $300+, just ridiculous. I'd love to find a Barrel Proof under $350, but that's been a hard find.

Brandy, Whiskey, Tipo Tinto and red wine, but I do not collect I drink them.....

trust me when I tell you sir this collection may well take a few hits during this COVID-19 situation. Normally I keep a bottle of Blanton’s , Bookers, Jim and Jack open at all times for medicinal purposes you understand! Each having their own medical efficacy will require additional bottles be opened in due course. Which one next.....:A Whistle:

I wish I had your problem @CAustin, my liver would be hard as a brick after working through your collection. Heading over to my local store shortly for a Rabbit Hole Dareringer (hopefully not sold out), it's a new favorite. Try it if you find it, finished in sherry casks, very smooth.

Having see Charlies collection in person several time his pictures don't do his collection justices. The only problem is that you have to walk past the Bourbon collection to get to his reloading room.

We you and your Dad or just you give me my next reloading lesson we will have to open a new bottle.....for medicinal purposes of course.

Buffalo Trace would be a staple in my house. I have cheap tastes...

Angel's Envy regular (and the rum barrel aged rye which is divine), Blanton's, and Campfire whiskey from High West distilleries which is an interesting blend of Scotch and bourbon. I was hesitant at first but it really worked for me.

The only positive that I have seen living in a state run liquor state is that prices are controlled. No price markup for the rare bottles. So when you are nice to your boozemonger and some small gifts are presented, you can score some hard to find booze at a reasonable price

On the No. 1 note, is there a regular release date for new Ruger No. 1's?

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!
