On October 23 1983, two suicide bombers blew themselves up along with 200+ U.S. Marines and 50+ French troops. Among them was a very good friend from high school, Lance Corporal Bill Stepflug from Auburn Alabama.

Some of the earliest shots in the war on terror. These men should not be forgotten!

Here here! I know you have good memories of your friend. God bless him and all like him.

I'll raise a glass and smoke a good cigar in memory of your friend, and all who didn't make it home from that cowardice act.

Lost several good friends in this murderous, heinous act. Last I saw them was when I was rotating out of Beirut a couple months prior. God Rest their Souls Please! Good to see that 40+ years later we're finally calling in the debt of a couple of the masterminds behind it. Never forget!

At least Israeli defense forces finally killed Hezbollah’s Ibrahim Aqil, who was wanted by the United States for 1983 attacks at the U.S. Embassy and Marine barracks.

That was a huge tactical error by the Reagan administration. Sticking the Marines in there without proper support. Then after the bombing, turning tail and running instead of any sort of proper retaliation.

We are being shown how it’s done by Israel right now.

My old neighbor's son died in this attack.

I was on a destroyer off of Lebanon in 1982, our ship supplied gunnery support for the marines. A few months later we tasked with escorting and protecting Yasser Arafat and the PLO from Israeli gunboats as they were evacuated from Lebanon, that part never bade any sense.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
