I agree Ses, Bakkies are just tools to cover ground. Everyone talks about walking their entire hunt and most guys could not last a day, never mind 7.
I sure did not walk all the way from Durban to get to the base of this mountain. If you want to walk more, get out and walk more. I think the OP has his plan and he can work it on his net hunt. Just don't complain when the trophy count is lower.

I could walk all day every day in steep scrambly terrain and I would accept a smaller bag and smaller trophies as well. For me the less effort I have to put in, the bigger the critters need to be to pull the trigger. A little sweat on the brow and some sore muscles are the icing on the cake of a good day afield and a memory that will not fade regardless of what is in the salt.
