Back from Benin hunting Season

Absolutely Hank. If you are working with the French in most any field, when it is lunch time, things come to a stop and you enjoy your meal!

I don't know why that, but you are right.... hahaha... this year we enjoyed lemon pie, tiramisu, fruit carpaccio, almond pie, chocolat mousse...... i am in a hurry to get back there....

I worked with French police officers off and on through the last 20 years working as international police officers. And found myself wandering around the Latin Quarter and the Louvre many times when I worked in Iraq. Would always spend a few days in Paris on my way home on leave. Always liked the French people when I was around them and their culture in general.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
