Anyone have any experience with this chrony? It's about $200 less than the Garmin, thinking about replacing my MagnetoSpeed Sporter if I get it.

We did side by side comparisons with the Garmin. The Athlon was very close to the Garmin across the board regardless of rifle or handgun cartridge. I only experienced one time the Athlon missed a shot, and it was because it was too far to one side of the rifle. Moved it closer, and it never missed a shot.

It is easier to manipulate than the Garmin, less buttons to push and the screen is larger, easier to see.

It gets a very good grade here, and I found no issues with it at all. If I did not have the Garmin already I would go with the Athlon for sure. Larger screen and less button pushing is a huge plus.

I bought the Athlon a month or so ago and have been pleased with it. It is the first/only chronograph that I’ve ever owned so I can’t compare it to any of the others. I bought it mainly to confirm MV of different ammo/rifle combos before ordering CDS turrets for my Leupold scopes.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
