Anyone try to buy powder lately?

About half right. Too many on our side didnt vote this time, or voted for some losertarian alternative, because Romney was not the perfect conservative candidate. No, he wasnt, but look what we got instead. I find it amazing that some didnt vote for Romney because he is Mormon! So what?!!?
As to the first part of your statement; the majority that voted, voted for Odumbo, regardless, and they are the fools who voted him in. You cannot say they are not fools because they are, there was just more of them. I do agree but it probably cannot be proved, that IF - IF all on our side had voted for Romney and not some other 3rd party twerp, then yes we May have won. Maybe. We got beat pretty bad. At present we are no longer a center-right country. We are now center-left. The demtards, yes DEMTARDS are winning. For the time being.

Not sure how many on our side that sat it out. I think too many Catholics voted for the chosen one, the baby killer, over the mormon.

Romney did not get as many votes as McCain did, but close. The chosen one got what, 9, 10 million less votes compared to last election? And he only received 51% of the total vote even though every media outlet is calling it decisive.

I know people who voted obama in 08, but then romney in 12.

I do not know a single McCain voter, who changed to obama in 12.

Yes its really odd how that works. Odumbo rails against the Catholic teachings and they end up voting for him. Huh, what!??! And yes your figures are correct, McCain got more votes than Romney. But more people voted third party tickets this time than last too. Thats where a lot of votes went. A lot of conventional wisdom went out the window with this election. No president in modern history at least had won re-election by having fewer votes than the first time. Obama did. Those who voted for McCain last time either voted for Romney, stayed home or voted for a 3rd party.
Everyone said whoever wins the independents wins the vote. Romney won most of the independents in the swing states and still lost the election.
Popular vote count aside, it was decisive, big time. Odumbo got 334 electoral votes, Romney got 206 I believe. That is decisive. I went to bed that night in near shock.

If I was bent towards conspiracy theories I would have to wonder about this election.

Obama had the numbers. All he had to do was win "the right states", get the electoral votes. He had the election won before there was a race...it's that simple. The next election might be interesting. It depends if we want to keep raising taxes and increasing the debt...people might get fed up?

Have to say (as a Catholic) EVERYONE in my parish voted for Romney, if not it is dang close to 100%. The priest is so anti obama it's crazy, and he let's it be known. So please don't categorize gentlemen.

Well of course it depends as the saying goes. Fact is most Catholics, the same as most of the Jewish faith, vote liberal. Seems strange, but its true. I am agnostic, some would say atheist. But unlike many non believers, I have no problem with religion because I recognize that most people in this country believe in some faith or other, but I voted for Romney and I gather Catholics dont think much of Mormons by and large. My Catholic sister calls Mormons "cultists", but I know she didnt vote for Obama.
But since I was 20, I have been voting Republican or conservative, regardless their affiliations.

I am not saying all catholics voted obama, but it is clear, that team obama made calls to catholics drumming up support, asking the question, "can you vote for a cultist?"

In some states, Wisconsin, Ohio, Virginia maybe, it might have been the difference.

If you look at the swing states;

Florida less than 80,000 separated them, in a state with over 8 million votes cast. That is 1%. Not a blowout, and that is 29 electoral votes.

Ohio, 150,000 separated them in a race with over with over 5 million votes cast. Not as close as Florida, but still close enough it could have been swung. 50.67% to 47.69%.

Virginia, Colorado, and Iowa at 51 to 52% Obama. Enough, but not wide margins.

It sucks that even with what I felt was the momentum, we did not come out on top.

I am not blaming any one group. College graduate unmarried women broke hard for Obama, but no reason why other than, "the war on women."

:focus: All being said, I think powder and basically all reloading components will continue to be higher in price (if even available). Same for factory loaded stuff, in the 223, 308 catagory. My advise is sit on what you got, or find individuals selling what you need, seems like even my favorite gun dealer is "Jacking up prices" on certain items.

A lot of otherwise smart people fell hook line and sinker for that totally fabricated war on women crap! What a crock!

Never underestimate the stupidity and Gullibility of the American People,,,how a country could re-elect and idiot who failed on allmost a 100% of his first time Campaign Promises,,even though he had majority in both the house and senate is beyond me

Remember that good one about, "the most transparent government ever!"? That was a classic. Another of my favorites was, "I will close Guantanamo."

He breaks the promises that they cheered for in 2008, and then still support him no matter what.

My grandmother was a southern old time democrat. She never realized that the parties switched at some point in the 20th century. She was still voting in the 90's like it was the 50's or 60's. She once told me, "It does not matter who they run, it could be a blue-footed boobie, you still vote democrat."

Luckily, I did not listen to the her on that subject.

The problem with "smart" people sometimes, is they think they are SO smart that they do not even need to listen or think about it. They just believe they instantly can come to the correct conclusion without even checking any facts or getting both sides. Anyone screaming for the banning of assault rifles right now, when it is clear they are used in less homicides than pistols, fists, baseball bats, hammers, and automobiles, classic case of "smart" people not exactly showing it.

These guys don't realize the damage they do to their business in the long run. A few years back we had a Diesel fuel shortage and the nearby gas station jacked up his prices from $1.05/L to $2.00/L. To this day I refuse to fuel up there, I used to buy about $250/week of fuel there plus snacks. I know his temporary gouging didn't net nearly as much as he lost in my business alone.

It is short sighted and I always do the same thing when I can. They can screw me once but they won't get a second chance. Sometimes it is not practical though, I live in a really rural area and with a lot of things there are no second choices when it comes to stores. Fortunately with fuel i get it delivered to the ranch and there are several fuel companies available.

My local dealer has only raised costs if she has had them raised on her. I was there when an older gentleman told her that she's missing out on making alot of money by not gouging. She told him when (and if ) this all settles down she doesn't want to be remembered as someone that took advantage of the situation, and that she wasn't raised that way. She'll have my business for life.

Many firearm owners seem to forget that we're all in this together. The attitude of they're only after "assault weapons" and it doesn't apply to me will leave us all with nothing.

If anyone needs powder Sincliar International still has some stock left. My brother and I just ordered about 15 pounds of different powders. They're really the only ones with some inventorty. Every other supplier I know of is dry, on everything...primers, powder, bullets, ...gone!

Well Call me a Pussy, but it,s winter here in Minnesota and it,s to Damn cold to go to the outdoor range,,,so the prices hikes and no inventories will hopefully be over when the Warm weather comes back to Ludifisk Land

+1, that's where I ordered from. I'm not overflowing in powder but I should have plenty to finalize loads. Just don't have an abundance to load practice rounds for my boy.

The news is already reporting that there's nowhere near enough support from Democrats to even think about any significant changes to gun control. My guess is that in a month this will have blown over.

I sometime like to shoot in the winter if there is no wind, cloudy and in the 20's or 30's. But if the weather isn't nice, there are far better things to do than freeze at the range.

I hope so, but you never know. None of us thought the socialist dictator would still be in office, but he is. Point being, with the unknown ahead, stocking up is the prudent thing to do. This stuff does't go bad anyway. I'm still using powder my father bought 30 years ago. Hopefully this crazyness blows over sooner than later.

Something I would like to share, it's a little over a 6 minute watch, but, well worth it. I don't know if this guy even owns a gun, but smart little fella. Got to: youtube and type in "choose your own crime stats", should show this younger guy with glasses. Well worth it.

When your right your right. I'm posting the link here for others to see if we could get him to run for Office he's got my vote! He should have his own tv show Educating the Public.
