Any boxing fans?

Indeed great fight and much respect for Usyk. How he fought back after seeming losing the momentum. Also respect for Fury. It seemed a couple of times that he rocked Usyk but he couldn't push through.

Was a fan of boxing for years and still interested in the truly serious bouts . What really pisses me off is these retired football thugs who confuse throwing a few haymakers with boxing but are paid huge sums on pay for view . A properly trained ( and supremely fit ) boxer would cut them to pieces .

Definitely true. On the other side a lot of people that are normally not interested in the sport will tune in. See for example that Disney kid, Jake Paul. Lot of people that normally not watch the sport will tune in to see him fight Mike Tyson.

Hopefully we see a glimp of the
Tyson from the past and knocks out the Paul kid.

I struggle to decide which one of those people I dislike more

Those are the best fights to watch :ROFLMAO:. I had that with Badr Hari the kickboxer. Last couple of years only watched his fights to see him get KTFO.

It wasn't quite Douglas over Tyson, but WOW!! What an upset! Surace knocking out Munguia last night was a HUGE surprise, for so many reasons: Munguia went the distance with Canelo, Surace only had 4 KOs in 26 fights, he had never fought anyone of note and never out of France... stunning.

And that boys and girls is why they play the game... and fight the fight.

Now if Usyk can take down Fury again next week.

I do not watch boxing as much. Mainly the big boys. I know of course who Canelo is. Going to see if I can somewhere watch the replay. Between the ones you mentioned.

This is going to be good. Team Fury here! Let's go

Usyk won and it was deserved

I only follow 3 sports...........very closely though......it used to be 4.....until the Footballers started taking a knee and disrespecting the Country that made them rich. THIS is the golden age of boxing. But years ago, when I could barely afford it, I spent $110 to watch Larry Holmes beat the F'k out of Muhammed Ali...........Now Usyk is THE man. I wish him well and respect all that this Olympic Champion has accomplished. Manny Stewart said it best "most heavyweights are clumsy"....and that is true. Like whale watching. A good Welter wt bout is usually far better. But Tyson and Usyk are exceptions. Happy that Saudi has saved the sport...(stunned that Munguia got KO'd)............FWB

Good night. I thought 8 rounds to 4 was accurate. If Frank Warren thinks his man Fury won, well he's delusional; someone should tell him how AI scored it. :ROFLMAO: And wow! I had never seen Moses Itauma until today - very impressive!

@flatwater bill - at least you are old enough to have seen some good boxers (Holmes, Holyfield, Leonard, Duran, Hagler, Frazier, and Mike Tyson,,,,with an honorable mention: Ali). Anyone over 60 saw the “end” of the Golden Era of Boxing and those over 70 - 90 really saw “the Greats” (Suger Ray Robinson, Joe Lewis, Rocky Marciano, Jake Lamotta, Willie Pep, etc..). When I was in High Scholl up until the 1990s I could name the World Chamions in every weight class - NOT Now…. As for Tyson Fury - he’s one of the Best-of-the-worst… a fat flubbery guy that looks like a “Before” add for Weight Watchers but he can hit hard and has shocking stamina for a whale…..he’s the modern day “Two Ton Tony Galenta”. I miss real Boxing with great athletes that were “in shape” and had exceptional skills.

I would respectfully disagree. He is over his prime but was and is a great boxer. Is very technical and quick on his feet, certainly for his weight. In think Fury in his prime was an formidable opponent that would keep any legend of the past busy and they would have a hard time against him. Also keep in mind the in the earlier years the weight was much lower.

Last decades had certainly some great heavyweight boxers but the division was not as stacked. The Klitschko brothers are one of those great boxers.

There are exceptions but as a whole I think boxers, especially the world class ones, are in better shape than boxers have ever been.

DieJager: we might have different definitions of “great”. Tyson Fury is good and very good compared to todays competition and there have been a few good heavyweights in the past that also looked “fat & soft” but none we Great, none were Undisputed Heavyweight Champs. Also, some very fit looking and muscular fighters were mediocre: Mike Weaver & Ken Norton looked like body builders and had a good punch but lacked stamina and somewhat glass jawed. Ever since the Championship fights were reduced from 15 rounds down to 12 AND they wear 10oz gloves vs the 8oz gloves worn until 1990 —- many average/good fighters can last for a decision so it’s hard to be “Great” in a 12 round fight.

I don't know if anyone else watched but...

Usyk is incredible.

No not yet, have to watch the replay. Currently on family holiday. But what I've read it seems to be another great fight

Phillip I was reviewing some of the auctions online and saw your Nubian Ibex hunt coming up this weekend. It also showed you have Addax and Axis deer. Is there a website I can go to and see the lodge, cost of animals and what is available? Thanks Mark

I really like that knife you're selling. It looks so similar to my original 1306 that has been around a long time. I can't spend that much but if you get to a point where you'd entertain offers let me know. Thx, James
