Kemp African Safaris can offer a bow hunter the rare opportunity to hunt a 47" sable bull .

This hunt will be all inclusive package for 7 days for 1 hunter and trophy fees for a 47" sable bull for only $9000

Could be the new SCI nr 1 with a bow .

There will be a good possibility if taken with a bow it will be or very close to be the new nr 1 SCI ever taken with a bow .That said, if I don't get a bow hunter interested ,I will hunt for it with rifle or hand gun it is either way a monster with whatever method you use to hunt ,you want to grab it from the bow hunters Aaron ?

Could well be that the bull is symetrical but simply the camera angle giving the impression of a shorter horn

It looks like it's 47" to me, there is very long sweep on those horns.

Wish I knew how to post a picture since I just returned from a lengthy sable hunt. Took a 45.5 on day 6 or 7. This ones not a heavy but definitely longer on at least his left. Wish I had the time cause I’d make room for this one

We got the monster sable today ,what a privilege it was to hunt this massive sable .

Will keep all posted on the final length but look like we may have a new nr one with the crossbow !

1)any chance if this animal is still around for 2019 that will see any increase in horn growth or is this animal maxed out.2) have you ever considered darting animal to get exact measurements. I would definitely switch from shooting a cape buffalo for a #1 sci sable with bow for my next years hunt
