@spike.t - Are You really from Jersey? I am and we all refer to our State as “Jersey” and here are some examples: “Jersey Girls”, Jersey Strong, Jersey Shore; etc..As I am the only person on here from Jersey originally...I think you should correct your mistake and put NEW Jersey.....you don't say York for New York..Hampshire for New Hampshire etc etc etc....

Final thought about folks from Jersey — we don’t get offended easily, curse a lot and use the “F word” like it was a friendly greeting !
Just like y’all guys from Jersey (not New Jersey) calling us Southern (US) boys Yanks LOL.Yup I am...you are from NEW Jersey...few thousand miles difference...oppsite sides of the Atlantic...and yes we know the incorrect terminology you use...bugs the shit out of us....had some interesting run ins with some how shall we say mentally challenged to be polite citizens of the usa....asking where I was from..said Jersey...get back no you not...

On the 50th anniversary of D Day there must have been a lot of stuff on TV about it...so for sci next year I just used to say just around the corner from D Day beaches...got ahh OK...only lasted for that year...as said just say zambia...now I get mmm that's Africa isn't it....me..yeah...
Now I’m watching for Spike to put out some kind of bird hunting package!
Hell, we have a hard enough time pronouncing English names let alone French or Native American names.I feel like bird hunting may have a different meaning in @SpikeT’s world!
Following the above theme, when we moved to the USA from Canada I came to the conclusion that Americans are completely incapable of correctly pronouncing French words, particularly US cities with French names. Makes one wonder what is actually taught in school. Our good friends in Louisiana are an obvious exception to this.

Done quite a bit of waterfowling in Virginia, both parents are from Virginia so we spent a lot of Christmas vacations in the Shenandoah valley. Not from New Jersey but my brother lives there and I’m an avid bird hunter. Just down the road in Virginia. I’ve hunted woodcock around cape may but it’s been years.
