And the trail cam photos start

Two days ago. If you go to the video media you’ll see him on film. Captured Thursday night.

Just wondered since it has been so dry.

Looks like your being set up for success. We'll hope for the best.

Brings back memories of my leopard hunt. Good luck, Jonny!

It was raining there this week, he told me between the rain and heat bait was spoiling quick.

Sent this week. Fairly green there. Of course much more rain is needed.

Nothing like seeing a cat on bait to get you all riled up! Hope your days fly by

Looking good!!! Nail a big one and tell us the tale! Good luck buddy!

Johnny. What bullet are you using in your .300 wsm for the leopard? I am heading to Namibia for leopard next year and just now deciding on the bullet. My tested ttsx does not seem to be the right choice. I am between accubond loaded as hot as I can get it or woodleighs. Good luck.

I am going to use 180 grain Nosler Partions I believe. I also have accubonds in 180 that I will bring too. Either one I am told will do the job. Also bringing my 270 WSM for the little guys. I may take that in the blind haven't really decided yet. My 300 has a Trijicon 2.5-10x56 on it which will be ideal for low light my 270 has a Leopold 4-12 x50 with an illuminated reticle I want to see what it looks like in low light too.

Getting reports from my PH we have multiple big males in the area working baits. That's good news.

This has success written all over it! As I recall, Craig Boddington wrote it took him 5 tries to get his leopard! I just know you’re going to do well!

Thanks my brother, I hope your right! So many obstacles for me this year as you are well aware, some happy news would surely be welcomed! Hope you enjoyed the videos I sent you on WhatsApp.

I just realized I never responded! Mr Spots looks large! Man am I jealous of your hunt! I’ll definitely keep my fingers crossed for you!

Great choices. Go get him, you filming it?

No. Not this time. I am hoping to film my next trip to Africa in either 20 or 21 . Plan is to hunt in Benin with another AH member. Long ways off but that's the plan.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.
