An Englishman attempts to cross the pond!

welcome yes we do have some wind to deal with but if you wait a bit it will settle, killed a lot of deer and antelope out here before I knew what a range finder was,Have a B and C buck antelope score of 83 and 6 /8 that was shot at 89yds on the 12th day of season with a 44 mag Redhawk just be very sneaky watch for rattle snakes and give the animal with one of the best sets of eyes in the kingdom a lot of respect and you will have a hunt of a lifetime,if you are hunting private land respect a mans property and ask him how he wants his gates left and mind your manners and he will most likely invite you back have a wonderful time and enjoy a land where there are many more acres than people good luck

Heading west this afternoon to set up camp, do a little scouting and await the arrival of the Englishman.

He'll be vibrating on the plane coming over.

Post some pictures of the scouting prospects.

Come to Texas brother all tags are over the counter except Pronghorn in my area which I happen to have tags for. ;)

How much is a speed goat hunt at your place Eric?

I didn’t sell any this year, those were the only hunt I did that wasn’t on property I owned. The tags on that hunt kept getting hiked up on me every year so I didn’t buy them this year. It hits a point where I don’t feel right charging some astronomical price for something that’s not worth it.
I’m looking at other places to get antelope tags for a more reasonable price that is larger and has more Pronghorn.

Well, that’s the hunt wrapped up. It was an absolute blast and I can’t thank my host enough. Both tags filled and some great memories. Write up and pictures to follow..

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
