It is easy to like this one!
Functions flawlessly, buttersmooth bolt, brass ejects beautifully to the right , also when rapid firing a "Dinosaur Drill". Barrel looks new, I'm actually breaking in a 40 years old rifle barrel, to cut down copper fouling.
Price was good, no collector value because of the suppressor thread in the muzzle. The suppressor came with the rifle as well. Nice for bench, makes recoil and noise feel like a 308.
Factory Oryx 300 grain gives exactly the velocity that the box says @ 785 m/s. Pictured chrono is a 270 Interlock practise load @ 800 m/s. Please excuse my metric. Those velocities are right up there where they should be.
This rifle just kept calling my name in my local gun shop... Moose medicine. I have shot Sakos since the 80's, never had a 375 until now. I also like Marlins and Merkels in different style guns... Sakos just are reliable "bread and butter"... And I'm well familiar with them. Easy to use.
This is such a great caliber, lots of power but still manageable. Nice trajectory. Okay, I have a small bruise from fast bad shouldering now but it's only Rock 'n' Roll.
And who could resist that bear head inlay in the pistol grip?
