American Hunting Rifles

Gorgeous

The thread on wood recently would have been just the place for a beautiful stock like that one.

The fellow who does Wayne’s stock work is one of the best in the biz. He’s done 3 model 70’s for me. It is truly stellar work.

I sent my CZ rifle to Wayne Jacobson at American Hunting Rifles at the end of last year for the #3 CZ upgrade. I got it back last week and I have to say that I am more than pleased with the work Mr. Jacobson did. It is honestly the best looking rifle in my safe. His attention to detail as absolutely superb! The whole process was easy from start to finish. Anytime I had a question he was always there to answer. I will start practicing this weekend to be ready for my trip to South Africa this August. It can’t come quick enough!!! View attachment 270812
Very nice! Wish he was in Canada...

Congrats! Looks great. Wayne did my CZ in .458 Lott and I am very happy with it.

+ 1. How about some ballpark pricing as well? I know good work isn't cheap, just wondering how many kids I'd have to mortgage.:rolleyes:

Beautiful, that stock is a work of art!!!! I just sent mine in 450 rigby for the #2 upgrade, this post made the anticipation even worse :D!

Do you have any pics of the model 70s Wayne did for you by chance?

This was taken last week in the Zambezi valley. LeRoy Barry did this and two other stocks for me. As I understand it he does Wayne’s stock work. It is stellar work.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
