Good luck. Its like hunting unicorns!
I’ve got one of those in the 358 Barnes Johnson express Mauser rifle I stumbled over! Previous owner claimed it was Fred’s rifle. Can’t get any proof other than word of mouth. Hornady is cutting dies. Hope to harvest a whitetail or two this fall!Good luck. Its like hunting unicorns!

Thanks. It seems I trip over a few projects! Sorry honey but it followed me to the truck And thanks for the info!Very nice
A set.screw tapped into the hangar bar works also.Almost all accuracy issues with #1s can be simply cured with adjustments to barrel forend pressure. The hicks accurizer is easy to install yourself and solves the problem.
Yes it does in fact that's what I did with my 7x57.A set.screw tapped into the hangar bar works also.
I think perhaps closer to 25 years ago in Rifle. It was after I read that article that I decided to try it on my rifle. It took about 2 or 3 turns on that set screw to take from 2 1/2 inch groups to very consistent 1 inch groups. I think the hicks accurizer is an easier fix though.I think Wayne Van Zwoll did an article in rifle or rifleshooter about 20 years ago on this
