Alberta Opening the Door for Grizzly Hunts

When I was up in BC on my griz hunt we did a lot of glassing in the grassy avalanche chutes. If we would of found one within range I would have a shot, if out of range we would of planned a stalk.

In 10 days we only saw a single griz in a small clearing 578 yards away just a couple of hours before dark. I didn't shoot.

This is great news. While at times things may seem pretty bleak, news like this (and the story about Romania re-opening brown bear hunting) is very encouraging.
