One of my Canadian hunting outfitters just had a cancellation hunt for the week of thanksgiving for Mule Deer. The outfitter has a great area and take some very nice Mule Deer. He just had a group cancel for the thanksgiving week. This is a prime week for big Mulies. The outfitter operates just out Calgary on 70,000 acres of private property and has a high success rate on Deer. His average is 180" with several in the 190-200" category taken each year. Hunt is based from a lodge and it is not a physically demanding hunt.

Let me know if you are interested the hunt is $5,500 plus $450 license and tag.
Pick up and return to Calgary is included, as are meals, lodging, guiding, field prep and trophy fee.

I have a client in camp this week, and he took a nice deer on the second day.

I am from Manitoba if the dollar was better I would be all over this. Went to Montana last year with no luck.

Very interesting....there is no open deer season surrounding Calgary with rifle until November...

good luck in getting the hunt sold, its always a struggle if a client cancels on you in such short notice.

Another client took this very nice 183" deer on Thursday.
Sold one this afternoon, to a nice guy from Greece of all places. There is still space available if you are interested.

Good luck, I still don't have a nice mule deer. Alberta does have some nice deer!

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
