Does anyone have any info on any AH get together for Zimbabwe. Am a new member and looking to get my touch in the hunting gig.

would be a lot of fun but the cost of the flight would kill me! im sure you could hook up with some of our members in RSA.

Good on Matt

Find some reason to have a get together like a hunting show where local AH members are likely to go anyway and post the time date and location of your proposed get together. People that can make it, will contact you.

Unless you could book a S.A. hunt prior to or just after the convention, then just adding this as a side trip, I don't see any benefit of a North American hunter/AH member making this trip just for the convention. We have so many big shows available to us much closer to home. And making a firearm purchase from any of the show's participant would be a self induced nightmare to have imported to our home, at least in the U.S. Those of you that have family close by might be another reason to attend a show in S. A.

No, but the guy asking the question lives in Zimbabwe. :) "My name is Taka I am from Zimbabwe,.."

Taka, come down to Cleveland Pistol Club on any saturday afternoon... bring your favourite rifles, some ammo and come and joint the shooting fun there... there's always lots of hunters there and there's a huge amount of experience to draw on there. Ask for Ernie, Chris, Alan or Ken. They're not all AH but Ernie is!

.375 H&H is your best bet unfortunately in big demand in Zim. One person is buying them all up. You might contact Preemesh in Byo. Or Karle in Harare. Beware lots of junk floating around. A CZ is a good one if it a decent one. All the names mentioned are good guys. They may not know where you can buy a good one but they will tell you which ones not to buy@

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
