Is it just me or is the Dallas show getting better every year?!?

Thanks to all who came and made the night so enjoyable. As others have already commented this was definitely our best party ever! We were in a great room at Gilley's, The Loft which we"ll try to have it there again. If we have a bigger party next year they can open up that room to become larger.

Thank you to John Sharp for giving away a couple of his books "Facing Down Fear" with a personalized message and @tarbe for arranging for this.

Also a big thanks to @rinehart0050 for offering a framed Wilhelm Kuhnert print that was randomly drawn and won by @Dlzbrg.

I sure hope to attend next year!

Looks like a great time was had by all. If I would have know that you'll started at 5:30 instead of 6:30 for sundowners, I would have joined you for an hour.

Come on over and enjoy the old colonies. You might even be able to find a place that serves tea and scones.(y) Bangers, Beans and Blood pudding might be a tad more difficult.;)

I can find Bangers and Blood Pudding.......also have beans but I refuse to serve them at breakfast!

Bigger and better in my opinion. And the AH hats are becoming more and more prevalent both inside and out of the convention center......

It was good to cross paths and meet you and @cbvanb Saturday night, all because of the hats Jerome @AfricaHunting.com!

Oh and also @Jfet and Team Get, who @AZ KJ and I ran into on our way out of the Y-O, almost forgot that one.

I think SCI had a lot to do with that this year... And likely to carry into next ;)

I think one of the reasons I perceive the show to be getting better every year is that I know more people every year!

I love looking at the rifles, the taxidermy, the art...but it is the people that make the show really special.

The first time I went, I met Royal and Nancy at the door...and they were probably the only people I had contact with prior to the show.

Now, I know many dozens of people in attendance, and probably met 3 dozen new to me folks this year.

People make the difference!

My $0.02 as always!

My thoughts exactly

I throughly enjoyed the dinner and the show this year. I had so much fun getting to see and talk to everyone and thank all of you for making it such a fun night.
I wish I could have got to meet and talk to more folks but I had a wonderful time. Already can’t wait until next year.

It was a good get together Jerome /Africa Hunting. Thanks again, see you next year!

Thanks to everyone that was involved in arranging the dinner. It sure was a great night to see some old friends and meeting new ones. Great to put faces to some of the names

Is it safe to say that the DSC show was better than the SCI one??

It's cheaper to fly to Dallas over Reno. Way cheaper to get into show and than there's the AH dinner. In Vegas you got a break on the flights and rooms but it suck to have it on Super Bowl weekend which caused it to be a bit more costly

One of these years I'm gonna head south for this! Looks like a lot of fun!

My wife and I had a great time. We snagged a couple of the new hats- maybe a another visor is on the horizon. I made it a point to meet as many new people as possible this year versus sitting in the back like I have for the past 2 yrs. Thanks to my new Zim friends from Mbalabala ! It was a pleasure buying yall a round. To Spike T and his lovely fiancee'- also a pleasure and a special thanks for explaining the recipe for making hippo lips to my wife. Although it didn't help your fiancee' making faces while you were explaining it :)
I finally met Wheels- :A Banana Sad:

Jacques with KJO- good seeing you again.

I tried to get with Marius with KMG, but he was drawing quite the crowd- I'll do better next time. Bos En Dol was too tall for me to stand next to :D

The food was definitely better (just stay away from the sliced brisket LOL) and the room was far better. Thanks to Jerome (and his lovely wife who entertained us right before they kicked everyone out) and Phil !!!

Good night- let's do it again !

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.
