Hello all. Looking to go on my first safari in 2020 or 2021. I am strictly bowhunting and am in the process of picking an outfitter. I have a few of the best known (Limcroma, Windshoeck, etc) at the top of my list, but I am looking for any info on EAI Outdoors. Found them during a Google search and they have really good prices, almost too good. Thank y'all for any help.

If you'll do a search for "EAI Outdoors" you'll find some stuff here on the forum.

The search will pick up "outdoors" too, so you'll have to do a little wading through, but it's there.

Looks like they are a booking agent. I saw some reviews of the hunt areas, good reviews, have not found problems yet, but I did not look real hard. I would if I was a buyer.

I have talked to them at the Harrisburg sportsman show a few times. I believe most of their land is in the Cape. If ur not going until 20-21, you should try to meet them and get hunter references. Sounds like some may be on this website.

That's the plan right now, they will be at the Houston Safari Club show in January. I was just hoping someone here had first hand knowledge of the operation. I was really hoping someone here had actually hunted with them.

Hi, We hunted with EAI Outdoors in South Africa on the Kubusi property's. We had a great time and took several nice animals. Food was good, PH's were very good, no real problems at all. However Glen Boyd was cold to me as we left Dallas in 100 degree weather, and it was about 40 degrees in the evenings at Glen Boyd. They had blankets and fire places in the sleeping area, but I was cold. Just mentioning it if your from a hot climate. I would recommend them.

Hello charrell71,

Please feel free to contact me anytime during your research if you have specific questions about Limcroma's bow hunting operations. We are all passionate bow hunters ourselves, and I can assure you that we take our bow hunting very seriously. We can accommodate traditional shooters as well as compound shooters, and spot & stalk is not only welcomed but encouraged if you are up to the challenge.

I can answer any preliminary question that you may have, and we can also plan to set up a personal meet with you in Dallas or Houston at the upcoming 2018 shows.

Thank you very much for your response. I see that you will be at the Texas Trophy Hunters Extravaganza in Houston August 4-6. I will be there the 5th and will seek out your booth to pester you with questions.[emoji1]

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris
