My "list" isn't so much about collecting animals but it is more about experiences. I'm not motivated by size of trophies. I'd love to spend some time with really good trackers, learning some of their craft, while figuring out the whereabouts of something like an old Eland or another Kudu. I'd also like to do some more hunting that requires a physical effort while spotting and stalking. Mountain zebra would meet that goal, as would Vaal Reedbuck. I haven't hunted elephant yet, so tracking a non-trophy elephant would combine goal #1 with a species that i'd like to hunt for the first time. I'd like to hunt buffalo in semi - open woodland, as a contrast to the open grasslands that I hunted them in recently. Stalking in close to a group would be an exciting challenge. If ever given the opportunity to hunt leopard, I'd want to do the whole thing - scout, locate, set baits, build blinds, and wait up. Would seem like the whole process would be more rewarding than to show up at a bait that is being regularly visited. Perhaps I lied a little in my second sentence. I'd like to shoot a big tusked warthog. I just like the way they look! ...There are so many more possibilities!
