Affordable 375s

You could have a custom build for a lot less and it'd be a better, more accurate rifle to boot. It may not have super wood but wood hasn't killed any animals. Not interested? CZ, Winchester or others will kill just as good as a high dollar, bragging rights, niche rifle.
I used to love bringing my nice wood stocked rifles into the field... till one of them spent 4 days in a scabbard on the side of a horse in Wyoming... Working rifles for me thanks. I agree. If you want a rifle to hunt with that works and shoots well, get a Winchester. If you want a rifle as a safequeen/eye candy/status symbol, that's a hunter's prerogative, but it won't kill any better than the Winchester and keeping that stinkin' horse from brushing it against every tree (as they are want to do) won't be anywhere near as stressful. Practicality has won out for me in the end. I actually now have a stainless Ruger Guide Gun in .375 Ruger because I wanted a gun I could go anywhere with and not worry about the stock and bluing getting messed up (...stinkin' horses).

My Toyota gets me to work the same as the guy in the Mercedes AMG black. Same with rifles.

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
