Good luck with that bear. Going to try the same on the Kamchatka in the spring.

Thanks Joe. I've certainly got high hopes and great expectations. And good luck to you!

Bears from my spring 2016 British Columbia hunt. They have been home for quite a while but don't remember if I shared here. They have been petted a few times by visiting kids;)
And that is exactly what they should be for. I have never told a child not to touch. Yes, it gets whatever is on their grubby little hands on my mounts. But if a child want to touch an animal, handle a skull, or poke an eye, as long as it is not mine, I am cool with it. How else do we get kids interested. I take that back. My 25 year old nephew still reminds me about the time when he was 6 or 7 that he pulled the tongue out of my bear skin rug. I did loose both barrels on him. Sorry Brian

Good luck on the bear hunt Bob, kill a Brutus Bruin Brother!

Thanks Brother I'll do my best... I can guarantee I will not be doing it wearing a loin cloth though so you slay a great old Dagga Boy with that double! We all want pictures of you in your wig and Tim in the loin cloth... But perhaps you can savor the "Snappy" pictures privately:sick:

Robert with Wild Images In Motion did a fantastic job. He planned the whole layout and placement. He also helped out hanging and placing some of the mounts I had done in South Africa by Relive. Robert did the base for the buffalo's.

Thanks! They are better than the pictures show. Detail is outstanding. Really happy to have gotten such a great Leopard out of Mozambique and in such great condition. Simon's crew did a great job on that skin. The whiskers are even perfect;)

Did you notice the duiker? Robert went all out on the authenticity of that:)

WOW, that leopard mount is kick a$$. What a beauty!!!!!

Good luck on your grizzly hunt, shot mine up in the Brooks range. The big bear hunts are IMO unbeatable in North America.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and well wishes. I'm sitting in my hotel in Anchorage doing some last minute business waiting until it's time for my flight into bush;)

The whole city is inundated with smoke from the fires. Apparently it has been real dry. Flew in through a smoke cloud so thick we couldn't see the wing tips.

Weather looks great right now in my hunting area. Going in very optimistic;)

Some more professional pictures. Robert actually set up in one of my machine sheds to have space and dark;)

He went through some phenomenal work to get proper photos and of course on the mounts and trees.

He wants to do more of this high end stuff that will allow him to use his artistic abilities.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
