@Altitude sickness - Just for clarification the shotgun for sale is a 20 bore, but I completely understand your point. Given the choice between a straight walled rifle cartridge and a shotgun, I'd choose the rifle (more clarification on this later). However for a youth or someone of smaller stature this may not be an option because of recoil. This shotgun has a muzzle brake to help mitigate this where most of the rifles in straight walled calibers do not. Plus this shotgun is a proven shooter out to 250+ yards...about the same as any of those straight walled ones.
If I were in a situation that necessitated a straight walled or shotgun for whitetail, this shotgun would be at the top of my list because it's a turn-key operation using top quality parts and topped with Zeiss glass. Insert hunter and you will have a full freezer. Yes price is a factor, but the time and energy saved is worth it IMO.
