A great place to eat and drink while in Windhoek, Namibia

Joe's Beer House is an open air restaurant created to give an African "bush" atmosphere. For the meat and beer lovers this is great place to go to. Choose from game dishes or traditional meat dishes. The beer is served cold with a smile every time. This is a lively yet peaceful atmosphere and they stay open late for drinkers. Whenever you go, there seems to be hunters, PHs with their clients... If you only spend one night in Windhoek, go and eat there.

Unless you're going to sit at the bar area, it's advisable to book a table in advance.

Joe's Beer House web site really doesn't give justice to the place... anyway here it is >>Joe's Beerhouse<<.

How come nobody picked up on this?
Been there twice and as good as he says!
You'll need reservations for a table and there is a guard in the parking lot.

 Hey Cliffy I picked up on it sounds like J's buying the first round.

Maybe he's buying dinner! I'm in for Kudu steaks :-)

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
