A very Interesting read about the giant sables of Angola including a fascinating history of the country, the animals and the handful who brought them out of obscurity. A long cast of characters that are hunters, politicians, biologists, researchers, writers, fundraisers etc lead the reader through the life and times of Angola itself intertwined with its magnificent trophy antelope. Even some pages about sci and it’s supporters. It’s a long book but I had a hard time leaving it alone. I just had to know what came next! I confess I googled a bunch of information and found even more on YouTube. Inexpensive and informative, glad I found time to read this one.

Yep. Fascinating read... a bit of biology, politics, history and adventure. Have a friend who fought in that war with SADF Special Forces. His story is more close up and personal.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked and both are available as ebooks through my local library.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
