9.3X74R Double Rifle For Sale Or Trade

I have for sale or trade a 1975 Johann Franzoj double rifle in 9.3x 74R. It weighs exactly 9 lbs and LOP is 14 5/8 “ it shoots very well and will show a target. $8000 or will consider trades towards a larger bore double rifle. Can add ammo into the right deal.

The target at 40 yards shows 3 sets of two shots The 3rd set is circled in black
It shoots better with the barrel fouled from several shots. It handles, opens, locks up and shoots very well.

I am open to ideas and negotiation. I hate to sell it but need the money for a larger bore. It shoots better than it looks. I have a lot of ammo also.

You will love the 500/416 Krieghoff, I truly enjoy mine. When you get yours drop me a PM and I will share load data to give you a starting point. I would be interested but already have a Chapuis 9.3x74 that is my favorite rifle.

At last count I have three 9.3x74R rifles, but I will gladly put in a vote for the quality and price of this one. It has all the bells and whistles that an English "best" boxlock would have to include the very difficult and very expensive stock reinforcing strap. What a lovely thing.

Thanks guys, Everything everybody says about the 9.3 is true they are a sweetheart to shoot. But I booked an elephant hunt and I would like to take a double. I already know I’m gonna regret selling this. The maker said it would cost $69,000 to have made right now.
