I'm looking for some cleaning tools such as bore brushes and swabs for an 8 gauge (technically it's a rifle, but you shotgun guys may be able to help).

I found plenty of them for sale in Europe... but none have been willing ship to the USA. My searching has yielded nothing available in the USA.

Any suggestions?

Thank you
-Matt

Contact Boretech and Dewey rods. They may have them in stock, or be able to offer some guidance as to where to find.

You should be able to find them. Remington still makes 8-bore shells, so I bet there are 8-bore cleaning supplies available.

What's that? Remington makes 8-bore shells? Yep, they are industrial loads for some sort of factory gun designed to shoot slag off the inside of some pit/reactor/tank. I would assume with great confidence that the gun these industries are using for these industrial loads require a cleaning brush/mop, it just isn't marketed to the sporting community.

I'd think you could also find some sort of oversized nylon or brass brushes that you could chuck up in a lathe and cut down to roughly the bore diameter of an eight bore.

Last thing I'd check into is what military heavy calibers exist on gunships, artillary, etc. that may approximate 8-bore. You may find a cheap milsurp source for a 22mm gun's cleaning supplies.

I think @rookhawk is onto a good lead there, I use Industrial 8ga cases from Winchester, some times Remington for my Guns & Rifle (I don't own a 8 Bore rifle right now) these are from Cement Works here, on that no one will release them just now.

Any way Remington & Winchester both sell Industrial/Kiln Guns/Cannons these are used in a lot of ways & many different industry's, as suggested these would differently need cleaning ?

As a side note the Black Remington cases are the strongest cases but nothing wrong with the White/semi clear Winchester case, I haven't used any of the Red cases.

PS are you sure a UK supplier will not send to you, as I'm sure they are one of the few county's that will send to us in NZ, can't get any thing from the US here ?

8gauge@olin.com is winchester/western’s contact info. They make an 8-bore cleaning kit shown below for their industrial 8-gauge guns:

Good Evening Matt85,
I'm in the UK were big bore shotguns are still popular in wildfowling clubs. I use a ten bore occasionally. I know a chap that had a 2 bore mounted on a punt!

If you are still looking for 8 bore cleaning gear. You might try looking at the Holts auctions website or a specialist dealer call Giles Marriott. I know both export to the US.

I ended up finding some gear at https://www.napierusa.com/

These have been working very well:

For a cleaning jag, I'm using this (built up with extra patches)

Another member here sent me some 8-bore mops and brushes as well, thank you all!

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
