PlaidDad here. (Madison, Wisconsin is exactly as described in the subject line.) Glad I found this! My wife and I did a couples safari to Limpopo in 2018. She didn't know why she wanted to go until I showed her pictures of African Sunsets. She is the Sunset Queen! A month before our hunt, she announced that she wanted to hunt, too. First day out, she and the PH stalked for 50 yards and she harvested a beautiful Impala with one shot from the 308 at 135 yards. Her comment, "What's the big deal?" I got a beautiful Kudu, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest and another great Impala. We are hoping to go back soon! I posted an ad in classifieds for a Blaser R8 barrel and magazine insert, 375 H&H Magnum.

My wife too loves Africa.
Although not a hunter, she indeed is more fond of fishing than I am (and I do enjoy fishing).
Furthermore, she has no argument against hunting and several times has asked me to try for this species or that, in order for her to have it sent to a taxidermist and then festoon our house with whatever it is.

Anyway, I shall look forward to your hunt reports and especially any of your pictures you care to post.
