Good luck to you all, I ll be going end of August or beginning of September.

The total time span from 2012-03-03 to 2012-05-03 is 1,464 hours.
This is equivalent to 87,840 minutes.
You can also convert 61 days to 5,270,400 seconds.
Today is 3/3/2012 and 5/3/2012 is exactly 61 days from today.

I could be off by a few minutes but that's when my next trip over the pond starts. Vaal Rhebuck is the main animal on the list. I happen to be going to the same place as terminator. This trip my wife will be staying home. She doesn't want to fly half way around the world to deal with snow and wind. She will wait until our June 14th hunt to Namibia 2013. Good hunting and shoot strait. Aaron

I will arrive KMG Safaris 43 days later than you:)
You better leave the best Bushbuck for me;)

My main targets for my hunt is, Bushbuck, Kudu, Hartebeest, Blesbuck and Impala.
I will be hunting for 12 days and I hope to get them all on spot and stalk with my bow:)

Looking forward to read your report when you come back:)

I will leave at least one Bushbuck for you! ;)

Definitely will give a report for you!

You expect snow in the East Cape in May?

Anyway, good luck on your hunt and give us all a report!

Nevada, That sounds like a great trip, and especially since you will be sharing it with your family.

I did a similar trip in 2005, only I was by myself. I hunted Buffalo and Bushbuck in Matetsi, then visited Vic Falls, stayed overnight at Russell's Ultimate Lodge, did an evening booze cruise on the Zambezie, and had dinner at the Vic Falls Hotel. A lot of history there!

From there, I flew back to Joburg, was met by another PH and went to Kwa-Zulu Natal for Nyala and a few others, then on to the Free State for still a few more. It was a great trip and hunt.

Good luck to you and your son!

43 days, Kudu, Gemsbok, Blue Wildebeest, Impala, Blesbok, and Warthog with Cruser Safaris for 10 days...

We will be hunting a few hours from camp. In the stormburg mountains. This is a picture of my wife and I last time we hunted the mountains. South Africa's only ski resort, Tiffindell, is also situated in these mountains. Wind and snow.

LOL Skip,
May should be too early for snow. Huntsolo101 leaves 5 days before you arrive. I will see if I can pull some strings to keep the snow away. Put can't promise anything. Anyways, we don't get snow around base camp.
If you were out with me hunting this past week, you would be praying for snow, as I was.

I hunted Namibia in March...there is a reason I wanted to come in May this time. It was warm! I am perfectly happy with no snow and temps in the high 30s or low 40s rising up to the 60s. That is perfect weather to me!

23 DAYS FOR ME!
Eat your hearts out guys. Namibia with Jamy Traut Safaris.
Don't know what I'll shoot yet as I have most available there but the wife and I will celebrate
our 20th while we are there.

IF YOU GO ONCE - YOU WILL GO AGAIN - DEAL WITH IT!

Exactly 30 days for my dad and I. I'm starting to feel the pressure and the nerves. :)

A lot of dreams are about to be filled. Hope everyone has a safe trip.
83 days for me and counting.

Thanks buddy. I hope you both shoot monsters. A nice mature bull will do me just fine. Can't wait. Go get 'em boys.

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
