.600 Nitro Package For Sale

So RCBS will no longer do them? I have access to a large machine shop - maybe need to make a set??
Actually, a sizing die is really all that is necessary, if shooting for fun, and especially with reduced loads.

RCBS has been out of the cusstom die business for years. You don't need a sizing die if shooting in the same rifle. You will need a seat die with a crimp.

So, absent a resizing die or a universal decapping die how do you decap spent primers from these "big boy" cases? To my knowledge, I know of no universal decapping dies that will handle such large cases. Plus, if you get past the decapping issue, you really don't need a seating/crimping die either if you are not resizing. One can pretty much seat the bullet by hand pressure, and crimping is really not necessary if you are just range shooting.

I deprime with a small punch and small hammer. As the cases are fired and not resized they may not hold a bullet in place with a friction fit. A crimp is nice on a heavy kicking rifle. Yes, if range shooting one at a time, placing the bullet in with your hand may work. I would not recommend this if a double with both barrels loaded as the bullet may shift forward when the other barrel is fired.
And, I depart for a week caribou and grizzly hunting tomorrow early so won't be on the computer for about a week. I write this so if you message me and I don't reply you won't think I'm rude.
