$50 permit fee to buy ammunition?

I have been to Left Coast several times. Enjoyed my time/visits.... mainly because as soon as I landed, I got the hell out of town. It really is a beautiful state. Tons of wildlife & lots of hunters. One of the absolute best duck hunting states in the US.... believe it or not. Especially, outside of SF... I was in the wine country once..... we saw deer, turkey & hogs. They also have a population of Elk..... Crazy what happens in some places.

Lived in California for 10 months...back in 1976. Now I am blessed to "live in the middle of nowhere" in northwest Kansas. I do feel for you fighting those kind of laws and liberal mentality.....has to be frustrating to say the least. At least with Trump and his team coming into place, you shouldn't have to worry about federal legislation....just your state.

Hopefully, with Trump in and a new Supreme Court Justice, this will turn out to be unconstitutionall

I suspect that not just the NBA will be filing lawsuits. the restriction on Internet Sales will surely be aggressively contested by online vendors.

I'd guess that the law will be suspended prior to implementation and eliminated in court

It's a plot to re-employ all of those Dept of Agriculture officers that previously operated the border checks to prevent entry of Out-of-State fruit & vegetables- they can resume their duties, now they intercept ammo & reloading components.

Wow, I can see plenty of old prohibition rat runs being reused. They worry about legal ammo and don't care about illegal immigrants, criminals etc. Not to mention the increased damage to crops by vermin if hunters can't get to shoot.

I haven't heard how the Seattle 5 cents per cartridge tax is working. they'll likely use the Chicago argument: it would work if only all of those bordering cities, counties, states, countries would have the law. and we know how well Chicago worked out when alcohol was banned nationwide.

What a sad state of affairs. If Hillary would have won the election we would all be subject to this type of lunacy.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
