.470 Nitro Express Cartridges Original Kynock

Ole...they were lucky, the ammo worked and one of them got a huge elephant..
Yes the old stuff works well if looked after as this appears to have!
At the range the other day a WW2 Mk 2 .303 was brought out with some original cordite ammo and the owner was happily shooting 300mm steel gongs at 300M through the open sights! Impressive to watch!

Old Kynoch might work, but why hunt with these old inferior bullets when you get Woodleighs..?

I have shot lots of WW2 .303 but stopped after having 2 cases of partly case separation in a SMLE Mk III*....got rid of the rest.

Old rifles, yes by all means, but fresh ammo..

Caustin,
the end of the british empire, was the end of Kynoch Big Bore Cartridges.
They do not produced anymore.
The owner Imperial Metal Industries/Birmingham sold the name Kynoch .
This firm is now Kynamco.
Im not so sure when they stopped producing, but I mean it was in the late 60ies.

They are still making ammo. The owner on the other hand isn't very good at customer services as I have been on the receiving end of it!! From what I understand the sight in Suffolk (45mins drive from me) is up for sale as a going concern. I have been tempted but it will need a hell of a lot of work to get it going well again

Can they be shipped to the U.S.?

Norfolk...what is happening at Kynoch...has David Little given up or what..??

I also struggle to get ammo from them...the Swedish agent has given up on them..apparently..

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
