470 N/E

Thank you David!!!!

I am planning to use it next season 2012...

I do not know yet... I am discussion it with them, but what I know is I want something simple. Any recommendation?

That's a hard one as it is a very personal choice though just like you I also prefer simple... Perhaps one thing to consider while choosing your engraving is the resale aspect of it, not that you will ever sell your Double, but if that day comes, the engraving will definitely be a factor. Let us know what you end up choosing.

The engraving is a personal choice...

try looking at Perazzi and Kreifhoff and look at some of there great patterns...

the thing is it take time for a quality engraver to do the work...it has to go into the cycle to come up on there table as these craftsman are booked out ... sometimes years...but you have to wait for the best some times...just like booking a safari with the PH and time of year you want...

i have one of each that is engraved...it will add to the initial cost and if you per chance want to sell it at a later date you will need to have good quality pattern to recoup your initial outlay...

quote; any suggestions on type of engraving.

I personally like fine scroll engraving like this;

Another suggestion is to have them add a flip up low light ivory sight.
The bellow sight has the low light flip up sight folded away;

Great looking double Adam, congrats and I'm sure your looking forward to creating some hunting memories with what should be a "keeper".

Looks like perfection! I am sure you'll make good use of it.

Hey, you look like a happy man.

Congratulations !

Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!

Hello. If you haven't already sold this rifle then I will purchase. Please advise. Thank you.

I doubt you are interested in any trades but I was getting ready to list a Sauer 404 3 barrel set in the 10-12 price range if your interested. It has the 404J, 30-06 and 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. Only the 30-06 had been shot and it has 7 rounds through it as I was working on breaking the barrel in. It also has both the synthetic thumbhole stock and somewhere between grade 3-5 non thumbhole stock
