460 Weatherby Load Data CE 500 grn SS and N550

Hey guys, anyone have any load data for Cutting Edge 500 grain safari solids and Vihtavuori N550?

Vihtavuori sent me load data stating 103.2 grains is the max and would yield 2,487 muzzle velocity, but at 104 grains, I’m still about 100 FPS less…

Several months later and not the right bullet but it’s something.

I would shoot g’s custom 450 grain fn solids right at 2600 fps using 110.7 grains of n550.
I can’t say what absolute max would have been but this wasn’t it of course. Probably around 116 grains but that’s really just a guess.
103 grains was ~2415. Again that’s a 450 grain.

Now this was also using Winchester mag primers. I’ve since been fortunate to acquire federal primers to use for this cartridge.

No one has said anything further but it won’t hurt to say I tried N550 using the 500 grain northfork ss/pp bullet at 3.79” oal and like last thing I posted out of a 24” barrel.

116.5 grains got me 2570 at the chrono. I believe this is at max pressure. Could be a smidge over so I’ve been loading 116 grains.
I did get 2600 fps with 117.5 grains but that has to be a hot load. Every bit of 68 to 70k psi by my wild guess.
I also saw 2470 fps at 111 grains of N550 with that bullet.
