.416 Rigby whats your opinion

I have both a Ruger and a CZ 550, I like the CZ better. 1 more in the magazine and it seems to fit better, less felt recoil. That said there is nothing wrong with either rifle.
Don't know. I shoot a .416 Weatherby. I shoots tight groups and kicks like a mule. You have got to hang on to it. I'm loading it with 400 grain Barnes TSX. It shoots though almost everything….except for a giraffe. It went through skin, ribs, lung, 2 feet of stomach [containing many lbs of chewed up plant pulp], liver [liver was unrecognizable], muscle, ribs and wound up perfectly flattened under the skin. The bullet lost virtually no weight. If you can handle the recoil, the rifle really shoots and, in that it is more powerful than the Rigby, it would be first choice unless you wanted to dial it up to a .460 Weatherby, which will really loosen your teeth.

I plan to thump a hippo with it in October. Hopefully I'll get a chest shot.

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.
