404 Jeffrey Brass

Stuff is like gold right now. Good luck on your search.

I keep hoping that Norma will make a run but no such luck.

With the whole Bertram thing going sideways and Norma being unobtainable, it’s a real bummer. Does anyone know if Bertram is going to sell in the USA anymore?

I really don’t know if they will be available again, I would also like to try those 450gn woodleigh’s from Australia as well,

I made a post on the reloading forum about making 404J brass out of (375) Remington Ultra Mag brass. The 404J case was the parent case when the RUM line was designed. It's extremely easy to make...until we get a reliable source for proper 404J headstamp brass again.

I’m not sure but I think the case head is smaller on the ultra Mag

I use 375 RUM brass for making 458 African cases also

Case head size is not significantly different. I shoot it in a CRF bolt and a single shot. Still picks up the rim and ejects it properly.

Not the case head but the rim is slightly smaller in diameter. No problem in my mod70.

But not sure how available RUM- cases is?
ADG makes 375RUM and is readily available. I've found it as cheap as $117/50 in a hard case that can be used with loaded rounds.

Some of the best brass you can buy, made in the US. Well known is the precision rifle community.

While I haven’t tried this myself, this is from Big Bore Rifles & Cartidges Wolfe Publishing Co.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
