Would that have been a fellow who calls himself the real gunsmith? That rifle is so beautiful it makes my soul hurt!
Mostly because I went the route of building a custom .404 and took a drastic wrong turn in my selection of gunsmith, and point being…..
If someone out here is thinking of having a custom .404 built; I’d be willing to bet that before it’s all over and done with, purchasing this Martini ready to hunt will save you countless headaches and dollars vs. trying to get a custom built.
No it was Dan Pederson “Classic Barrel & Action” Prescott Arizona.Would that have been a fellow who calls himself the real gunsmith?
It's definitely a beautiful rig. The 14.5" LOP is a bit long for my tastes. I'm 5'11 and find a 14" LOP is about right.I do have ammo and a pelican case that has special foam insert fit for this rifle. No brass no dies and it was regulated with Hornady.
Just call Chris and ask himI am in a desperate search of a Heym 375 LH Martini myself. I am wondering what is the Price with and without the Swarovski Scope? If I able to find a 375 Heym I will have an idea what to pay.
Did I miss the price you are selling your 404?

Does it hold 4 in the magazine plus 1 in the spout?
I agree with you Krish, but personally I never put 1 up the spout and then close the bolt on that round, of course I do not own a push feed rifle. I own m-70, CZ, Rigby & Jefferies (M-98).Regardless of what internet or Heym say, if the magazine takes 5 with no problem then it is 4+1.
If it only takes 4 in the magazine comfortably then it is 3+1.
I have been fooled by CZ 416 Rigby's. The box says 3+1. But most of them only take 3 in the magazine. That is not 3+1.
