Custom made 4 bore Muzzleloader for sale. I’ve had this rifle for about 5 years and just can’t remember the maker’s name. Jim ? From the western US?
Fully rifled 31 1/2 inch barrel. Bore size 1.015”. Weight is 19.4 lbs and LOP is 14 5/8” I have loaded it with 250 grains ff black powder, but the previous owner as I recall loaded it up to 400 grains under a round ball weighing about 1750 grains. I can send more photos if requested.
$4200 plus shipping /insurance
Thanks for looking, I expect to be posting several other rifles in the coming days. To ease suspicious minds,I have had a number of transactions on this and NE forums.

Neat! Looking forward to the rest….

What a beauty, would like to see more of it but is it LH lock rifle ?

Thanks for the comments. The lock is indeed on the left, a fact that I forgot to state. Thanks for noticing that. I shoot right handed and I wondered if it would work for me, it didn’t cause me any problems. Maybe I was distracted by the recoil
Actually the recoil isn’t bad with 200 grains black. As I said I have never ”felt” the need to use 400 grains.

Sweet baby Jesus, the ramrod looks like a toothpick next to that hole in the end of that beast. What a beautiful rifle!!

If only it was right hand
Don't let the left side lock put you off. I've got a John Dixon .450 with a left hand lock and it is no problem at all. In fact many of the early Alex Henry breech loaders were left hand lock on purpose because Henry felt that it would be easier for a right handed person to use. Of course I know this isn't a breech loader, but still no problem.

I would have zero hesitation about a left hand lock. All my sxs hammer guns have left hand locks!

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
